Celebrating Nigeria at 55... Happy Independence!

Nigeria ''good people " good nation

Nigeria's first independence was October 1st 1960.  Nigeria is 55 today, October 1st 2015! 55 years of pain, gain, laughter, tears, corruption, endurance, freedom , peace and love.

NATIONAL ANTHEM
Arise o' compatriots, Nigeria's call obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labor of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound with freedom
Peace and unity.

Nigeria is the best country to dwell in, our culture, hospitality, good food, music, good life, what more can we ask for.  We are also rich in mineral resources, good soil for farming, God
has blessed this great nation.

I respect Nigerians a lot, we have this surviving, praying and enduring spirit that keeps us going whatever the situation is.  We conquered Ebola, the fearful disease through our voice, the government, and also give tribute to the great doctor late MRS STELLA ADEDAVOH who treated MR PATRICK SAWYER that brought in the infectious disease down to Nigeria.

I believe, there are so many things to work on in this country. The change we've been expecting is here and we are waiting patiently to see that change happen.

I was in church on sunday, and we wore our native attires to symbolize Nigeria as we celebrate the forthcoming Independence day.  The church was colourful with good looking men, women and children. For some, they wore their tribal made outfits and the rest of us, we wore just the everyday nice looking native attires. Trust the yorubas with the geles (headtie).. lol!

On my way to church!

I long for a beautiful Nigeria, where we will live a beautiful life free from corruption, free from terrorism, beautiful schools, good hospital, good roads, everything all affordable for the poor. I am sure with that we won't have to think of travelling out to other countries rather we'll have more tourist centers and investors coming to invest in Nigeria from foreign countries
Our diversity is our strength, let's join hands to support the governments.

I am proud to be born in this country. God bless our land, let the flag wave... green and white of blessing. Happy Independence.
